Jack Antonoff has three songs off Folklore credited in his billing for Producer of the Year whereas Andrew Watt only has Break My Heart. Album of the year will be decided by who wins Producer of the Year Non Classical.

Watt isn’t that strong of a presence in Future Nostalgia to mean much. I do think a Jack Antonoff win would help Folklore’s chances, but I don’t think it locks the win.
The entire basis for FN winning AOTY is based on DSN getting into Record. That’s an absolutely ridiculous theory considering two years ago Kacey with 1 gf nomination beat Brandi, Kendrick AND Drake who all had 3.
It isn’t just the nomination, it’s the fact that DSN is being predicted to win ROTY and SOTY, which is a very reasonable outcome, if not even inevitable, considering how often those two go to the same artist.
And considering how much Grammy voters like their sweeps, it isn’t far-fetched to assume that they’ll vote for the same artist in AOTY too, like they have done in 2017, 2018 and 2020.
Kacey is a very unique case in recent time, simply because she didn’t have to compete against the ROTY and SOTY winner of her year.Taylor/folklore doesn’t have that luxury. She has to compete agains the current favorite for ROTY and SOTY.
Also the year 1989 won Album of the Year Taylor’s Executive Producer, Max Martin also won POTYNC. 😬

2. Lil nas x ‘ panini getting SOTY and 7 getting AOTY noms.
Anyways the odds recalibration is better I think, we have my prediction with Dua in ROTY SOTY and BPSP with Taylor winning in AOTY BPVA and BPDGP. I really really hope they split, they both deserve the awards.

I can’t believe people think Dua is beating Taylor in AOTY and SOTY just because she’s nominated for ROTY and Taylor isn’t. So is Post and we know Circles got less votes than cardigan in BPSP.
If anything, I believe Taylor is winning SOTY (finally) and BPSP because she allegedly has more suppot than Dua. I theorized that they snubbed cardigan in ROTY in order to prevent a sweep and to make sure Dua doesn’t go home empty-handed. But that doesn’t make any sense either!
