If Taylor loses it will be to the guy who Chris Martin, Quincy Jones, Pat Metheny, Herbie Hancock, Sza etc. have all said is the best alive.
That being said, goldderby swifties have described Jacob as a bad musician. I have no doubt that their opinions will mean more to the academy than a group with a combined total of 195 nominations and 69 wins so it seems like it’s over for Jacob

March 2, 2021 at 4:21 pm #1204077850Dua’s “Chris Gehringer” was also the mastering engineer behind Norman F**, Born This Way, Some Nights, Blurryface, Cuz I Love You, Loud and Dirty Computer. He’s got reputation in his own field too. That counts I guess.
And Jack has production credits behind all these Grammy nominated and winning albums: Norman Fckn Rockwell, Gasslighter, 1989, Melodrama, Lover, Reputation, Masseduction, Some Nights.

no one! Literally no one has said this stop making stuff ups I for one have never referred to Jacob as a bad musician, have I called him a Cobbler? Yes I have, but I have never disrespected the guy and always said that he is talented. Talented but obscure and irrelevant.

At least last year, Billie already locked BNA and AOTY, and Kacey for AOTY last last year. </p>
dua has it locked
she will sweep lmaoTaylor Swift 3x AOTY winner
waiting for Speak Now (TV)March 2, 2021 at 4:52 pm #1204077887Taylor is more locked to win AOTY than Billie was last year. There’s literally no competition I feel. The decks are stacked for her to win after the BRP chose this line-up. If The Weeknd, Fiona Apple and Brittany Howard were in the mix, we’d be having a different conversation, but they are not.

Not only yesterday, I’ve read that more times than I remember.
March 2, 2021 at 5:08 pm #1204077928i understand predicting a dua sweep but saying that’s locked is laughable
March 2, 2021 at 5:14 pm #1204077950Dua is not a lock. She can easily go empty-handed though it’s very unlikely
March 2, 2021 at 5:35 pm #1204078003Kacey was never locked y’all were predicting Brandi or Kendrick to finally prevail! As for Billie that is a different story, I stupidly predicted Lizzo over her in Album of the Year. Come on y’all! You people always forget.

Music Film: folklore studio sessionsMarch 2, 2021 at 5:43 pm #1204078033Dua deserves to win Pop Solo only IMO since Blinding Lights is out of the running. It’s definitely has the best produced pop song there. ROTY is definitely a possibility, but I really enjoyed the Savage REMIX more than Dont Start Now. SOTY and AOTY, I just fail to see how Taylor loses those two. Folklore is extremely loved more than future Nostalgia everywhere except with number one hits. The acclaim is higher, the sales are higher, and the buzz behind this album fits the year of the pandemic with recording in your house. Although I would not mind a split between FN in Pop Album and Folklore in AOTY. Dance pop gets overlooked for a nomination in pop yet alone a win.
Folklore AOTY
March 2, 2021 at 5:46 pm #1204078041Additionally, there was no big frontrunners every year, it only happens when a pop star has the biggest album a la 2011, 2015, 2016, & 2020.
Folklore AOTY
March 2, 2021 at 5:51 pm #1204078053their Jhene’s fiercest competition in the category but i feel Jhene’s GF nomination gives her the edge
Honey, Jhene Aiko’s Album of the Year nomination was hand-picked by a committee. That is why I’m NOT 100% sure about her winning Best Progressive R&B Album. Chloe x Halle could’ve gotten more votes than her in AOTY.
