Dua Lipa sweep no happening. But, if John Mayer becomes a Grammy presenter for SOTY or AOTY, it would go to Taylor.

Final predictions: Both Taylor and Dua take home 3 Grammys each.

    Dua- BPSP, ROTY, SOTY
    Taytay – AOTY, BPDGP, BPVA

Please explain how John Meyer presenting SOTY and AOTY at the Grammys means that Taylor Swift is winning? No disrespect to Taylor. And how is an artist’s appearance to the show means that they will automatically win? Beyonce, having the best performance of the night, literally performed for 9 minutes, pregnant, and the Grammys still didn’t even give her AOTY… This isn’t the AMAs.

Chart positions really don’t matter here 😅

    Morning Phase – #3

    Golden Hour – #4

so now these albums come into play. But when we bring up these albums into the AOTY winner with no hits y’all sing a different tune. Make up your minds.

The real cackle is if neither Dua or Taylor “sweep”.

    Honestly gunning for this.

I don’t think Dua’s record was dominant and noteworthy enough to warrant a sweep, and the same goes for folklore. Them splitting the spoils would be the ideal scenario.

    Hopefully they televise these categories:

    1. Best Alternative Music Album
    2. Best Pop Duo/Group
    3. R&B Performance
    4. Best Rap Song
    5. Best Country Album
    6. Best Pop Solo Performance

    7-10 The General Field .

I still think Black Parade will win SOTY.

If country voters voted for folklore, there is no way she is losing AOTY.

I somehow think she does not have that much of a support this time? She performed Betty at the ACMs for Grammy voters and it failed to pick up a nomination in such a weak year in Country? In my opinion, it shows there’s not so much passion for Folklore from Country. Exile did get nominated because Pop voters seem to like it without being a proper single.

It’s less that she needs support and more that she’s one of the few (if only) country-adjacent options they have to vote for in AOTY full stop.

the last 8 years saw number 1 albums and songs to win roty and aoty. Dsn is number 2 and fn is 4 so its a flop and wont win aoty or roty. Pop solo is her only chance

Why do you guys think an album has to have big commerical success to win AOTY? Golden Hour and Morning Phase were both not successful commercially but they went on to win AOTY. It’s not like FN is a complete flop. It has critical acclaim too.

This is like prior the nominations all over again when people suddenly started to doubt Taylor… Only for her to get 6 nominations. I don’t think Taylor will sweep but she will win big.
