I think this is between Megan and Phoebe. The votes might split between Megan and Doja which may pave the way for Phoebe but Megan seems to be everywhere this Grammy season with her campaign and the impact of WAP. Hoping for a Phoebe win though. She’s definetely campaigning too with her talk show appearances.

Phoebe has the second most acclaimed album of the year. She will probably have an uphill battle in the rock/alternative fields, but those same voters could go hard for her in BNA.

Country and Americana voters also might go to her considering she’s also known as singer-songwriter. Ingrid is not that strong to grab all these genre voters. People focusing on Megan but forgot to look at the nominees lineup which is heavily favor Phoebe.

I think there is a smear campaign against Megan these days.

Why such type of videos pop up these days ?

They try to frame her in as a selfish in the industry and many people in social media have jumped on it.

    She deserves to win.

I mean, I’m not sure how much that matters when Kacey Musgraves and Kendrick Lamar had more acclaimed albums than their competitors, and they were much bigger stars than Phoebe.

Not Doja also performing (probably Say So again) at the Dick Clark’s New Year event as well…

“Say So” is this year’s “Girl on Fire” & “Rise Up”. That initially OK song that gets over performed on every awards show.

Even without acclaim, I can see the rock/alternative bloc coming out hard for her if voters are somehow split between Megan and Doja. She should not be underestimated.

Over the past few years, BNA has gone to artists with a good amount of commercial success. On the other hand, when is the last time a solo artist has won BNA without a huge amount of commercial success?

That being said, I think BNA is between Megan and Phoebe with Ingrid Andress as a dark horse. Megan has been everywhere this year, Phoebe is the singer-songwriter they sometimes go for in this category as is Ingrid who did very well in the nominations for the country field (Performance, Song, Album).
