I like Taylor more then a should be, but you are pure delusion to think that To Pimp a Butterfly, probably will be regarded as the best rap album ever, will measure up to 1989. In time sweetie.

In their own genres, the albums are pretty equal.

Anyway, enough nonsense. Taylor’s not winning that 3rd AOTY. Fiona will, and she’ll say “The Grammys are bullshit” and walk off the stage. And she’ll take her dog(s) to the stage.

If Fiona Apple does not get nominated in AOTY, then it’s The Weeknd vs Taylor Swift for AOTY.

I really hope that doesn’t happen. Fiona needs to be there.

she was the frontrunner to win the award. So I mean….

please seek medical attention. I like Taylor more then a should be, but you are pure delusion to think that To Pimp a Butterfly, probably will be regarded as the best rap album ever, will measure up to 1989. In time sweetie.

hey man I’m being super hyperbolic. I’m just being messy. I don’t believe she’ll get all those nods, and if that win album of the year. I’m just happy she put out this awesome record. This years Grammys will be spread. And I’m looking forward. It’s actually been a great year in music.

Xtina + her album spent whopping 2 weeks on billboard 200 = BARF!

I am not a Swiftie, i like all music. I loved the albums that got released this year from Jessie Ware, SAWAYAMA, Fiona and others. Folklore is not my favourite, but listening it full next to other big contenders, it stands out, when it comes to voting in GF. In the final round of voting, it may sweep all the votes and boom. Will she be put aside by the Academy in a way to stop this ? No, based on what releases we have seen on the commercial/critical sphere  this year with the very weak competition Taylor has in all categories.

    FYC Grammys 2021

Hmmm, no. 1989 is a solid pop album but To Pimp a Butterfly is iconic, beginning to end. Probably biggest contender for best album of 2010’s. It hasn’t sold as 1989 but it’s more relevant and timeless than ever.

the thing is i really can’t see Abel sweeping AOTY, SOTY and ROTY despite the campaigning he’s doing I feel like it’ll be too much. There has to be a surprise in there with him either not winning AOTY or SOTY

but then the issue is if Taylor is nominated in AOTY, and it will be hard to avoid nominating her this time, she could very well win by appealing to quite a large range of voters unless she splits votes with Fiona

but then also the Grammys are undeniably racist…are we giving them too much credit by thinking they care about the current climate??

    “given the current climate”

LOL. Y’all really think the Grammys aren’t gonna give AOTY to another safe white artist. Abel may have had a chance but that went out the window when Taylor Swift released the most baity pop album in her discography. Shit is gonna be white as f*ck, once again, just like every other year.

I would genuinely be shocked if a Black artist won AOTY this year.
