Folklore’s “longevity” is so forced, that I can’t imagine how hard it will fall when she stops these stunts,

If “Lover” without any big hit and with its HORRIBLE single choice still managed to spend almost 20 weeks in the top10, I can guarantee you that folklore won’t free fall, sorry to be the one to tell you that.
Taylor sells well in the holiday season and “folklore” is coming to show you lots and lots of stability.

Pop Smoke has 5 tracks above any folklore song on US Spotify, and that’s not even his biggest platform (AM is where he has his entire album above the highest folklore song). Cut Pop Smoke’s album down to 17 tracks (same length as folklore) and he’s out streaming her still. It’s a fact that his album is being consumed more on streaming. Accept it, folklore is only “dominating” the BB200 because of her bundles. This is nothing to disregard her success, but it’s reality.

It’s funny because you only focus on streaming which I clearly highlighting how Pop Smoke gets so much advantage due to his 34 tracks. Now explain to me why his physical sales lower than 1k. I’ve been told that GP are so interest to his music.

    That’s not how charts work.

I don’t call it accurate but my point is clear. He has 34 tracks in the album, obviously will help him in streaming. Are you trying to deny that?

Look at the top 10 of apple music. Tell me who’s 3 of those tracks.

Tell me what album is still top 3 on apple music.

Tell me which album has 2 songs top 20 on spotify.

Pure sales aren’t doing well because that’s not how the industry works.

why be purposefully obtuse? we all know streaming is how the GP mostly consumes music these days, only fans buy the actual album. Streaming accounted for 80% of the American music market in 2019 therefore it’s a better reflection of what gp is checking for

Bundles or not, the streaming points are big.

Without bundles and signed copies she is #5. With pure gp interest Pop Smoke would be spending his 7th weeks at #1 now.

I clearly highlighting how Pop Smoke gets so much advantage due to his 34 tracks.

Did you just gloss over the part where I stated you can cut his album down to the same amount of tracks as Taylor and he’s still outstreaming?

Now explain to me why his physical sales lower than 1k. I’ve been told that GP are so interest to his music.

No one but stans is buying music in 2020. Pop Smoke doesn’t have a large stan base who are easily exploited to buy the latest t-shirt + album bundle he puts out, unlike Taylor.

Oh, poor Taylor with her folk album, released two months ago, not outstreaming Pop Smoke, but look not even The Weeknd with his monster hit cant hold a candle to Pop Smoke streaming stats, but he is tipped for AOTY winner somehow.

again with the false equivalencies of comparing an album released in March with another album that came out in July

So Pop Smoke has the biggest album this week, and in order to prove that wrong you bring up ABEL?
