    I think this year is going to be different for the past few Grammy years. I think what helps Folklore winning is that the Grammys can use the argument they award enough Black artist, even if it’s not AOTY.  

    That’s not really different, though. They did that very recently when This Is America won ROTY and SOTY while Kacey Musgraves (deservedly) won AOTY. A lot of the criticism against them has been that no matter how well an album by a black artist does, no matter how much it sells or how big a hit it produces or how acclaimed it is, there’s always a white woman more deserving. I don’t want to rehash this entire debate—I’m just pointing out that nothing of what you’re suggesting is in any way new or different.

    Harry Styles is so hard to predict. I don’t know where would I placed him. It’s over for him if committee still viewed as fraction of a boyband
