Watch out for Beck’s “Hyperspace”, The Strokes’ “The New Abnormal“ and Dua Lipa’s “Future Nostalgia”. I really like the packaging for “Miss Anthropocene” too but i guess it’s a long shot.

Yep. It’s awarded to the visual look of an album. Art directors receive credit (unless the artist is also involved ala Rihanna for ANTI).

I don’t know what changes BTS has for this nomination. They’ve been nominated before but MOTS7 artwork is pretty simple, it’s the inside contents that truly make the album.

This category is always difficult to predict because the line ups are less commercial. The voters put effort into selecting the final 5 nominees. Which is why it’s one of my favorites.

Tbh, I could def see Chromatica getting a nom. Say what you want about the album, but the cover art is absolutely incredible and the art direction for the era as a whole has universally been seen as a strong point.
