The Chicks were quite obviously getting no nominations. Their album bombed and they received literally no nominations at any of the country award shows.

Taylor is a really respected artist in the industry and folklore has been marketed around her songwriting and storytelling. It’s easily her creative peak AND one of the most acclaimed albums this year. Her commercial success is just … a cherry on the top. Some of y’all have a little smth smth against her but we saw it coming back in September.

but I’m surprised that Miranda Lambert actually stands a chance. Everytime she received more than 2 nominations, she won. So I assume she’s taking Best Country Album or Solo Performance.
