Pleasantly surprised at the amount of Wizkid love. And of course Planet Her is rightfully in Album of the Year.

Jazmine Sullivan, Silk Sonic, and H.E.R. were a given. But there are some artists I think people should look out for at the Grammys. Tank received Soul Train and American Music Award nominations. He could be this year’s Urban AC pick in Best R&B Performance or Song. Wizkid also shouldn’t be underestimated. “Essence” is peaking at the right time on multiple formats. The amount of love he got is very telling.

If you’re talking R&B categories then Essence isn’t apart of the conversation. Billboard confirmed it was submitted to Global Music Performance.

I never mentioned the R&B categories. But thanks for confirming what Billboard said. Regardless of where “Essence” was submitted, it could still be a factor in other categories because as I confirmed, it’s doing well on multiple formats. Maybe a Record or Song of the Year nod is possible.

The way I want Jazmine to edge out HER in every category ……

It would be nice to have Jazmine win For Girl Like Me in Collaboration. Wish she would’ve got nominated for “On It” instead

H.E.R & Chris Brown lead nominations but are both going home empty handed and they deserve nothing

Doja deserves album of the year but the black community don’t respect her enough for some reason

Jazmine and Doja is neck and neck for me so if any wins, I’ll be perfectly fine with that

“Essence” taking home Songwriter and Collaboration but it might also win Song of the Year

Normani deserves both her awards literally nobody else in her categories are more deserving.

Kelly might take Kirk gospel reign *hopefully*

I think Blxst could sneak in a BNA nom at the Grammys. Also could see Chosen and/or his album get R&B nods.
