Pop Smoke’s posthumous album Faith’s first week sales is now 98k, leading a tight race between John Mayer and Pop Smoke which that album was a total cash grab made by some greedy mofos. So i’m happy that album declines in sales.

We all know that Olivia Rodrigo is headed for a big night at the 64th annual Grammy Awards, which will be held at Staples Center in Los Angeles on Jan. 31. She is an overwhelming favorite to win as best new artist and is the clear front-runner to win record and song of the year for her widely admired smash “drivers license.”
Did Paul forget “Leave the Door Open” exists 💀July 20, 2021 at 5:00 pm #1204355026
Honey, we’ve been through this a thousand times already. Boz even emailed the Recording Academy to clear things up, but in case we have to say it for one last time:
“WAP” by far is NOT eligible for the 2022 Grammys because it was released on the previous awards cycle. If Cardi B releases an album with the song included as a track, then it will be. The music video being released outside of the current eligibility period is also ineligible.

i remember reading somewhere that the tony x gaga album will be released after the deadline
maybe interscope don’t want gaga, billie and olivia to compete against each other in AOTY? or maybe they’re waiting for albums and vinyls to print and stuff like that.. who knowsJuly 20, 2021 at 5:46 pm #1204355087

Yes but the lead single comes in August and the entire album in October if i’m not mistaken.
1. I’m guessing imo it’s possible Interscope (label) thinks Olivia’s chances are getting better by the day. From being possible BPVA winner to possible AOTY winner.
And yes, it’s possible that they would want all albums, vinyls, etc. to be shipped at the same time.
2. This could also mean that (“One Last Time”) the Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga album may receive a lot of support and could potentially be a serious threat in AOTY, etc.July 20, 2021 at 7:01 pm #1204355167
Agreed. It blocked Doja and she’s tripling his numbers now lol
I mean, the album isn’t made for charts though. It doesn’t have big radio hits, just like IGOR and Flower Boy. That’s why Doja’s album is more stable. He’s still a big contender.
