Liv deserves the sweep more. She’s more fresh, relatable and Home girl can actually sang and has had the superior singles and massive impact. She is the moment. I’m here for my Pinoy Queen!

Also, HTE is no folklore. Folklore was a moment in pop music, the world seriously stopped for Taylor upon folklore’s release week. We had never heard anything like it from Tay. Although HTE maybe critically acclaimed, it’s release is seriously meh. This like when NFR was released. Billie will need something big.

Idk who compared folklore to hte but we will see based on year end rankings. For now we cannot tell who is more acclaimed. Excited for Pitchfork score.

Let us wait for final score. Also a just having higher score doesn’t make an album more acclaimed especially if the difference is by 2-3 points. It should show up on the best albums of 2021 list.

Unrelated to Grammys but lot of stans say Pitchfork scores are an average of multiple reviewers. But they have given so many albums 0. Like it is not that highly probable that all reviewers gave the album a 0.
Does anyone know how the score is actually assigned.

“Relatability” is irrelevant to whether someone should win a Grammy or not.

i’m just sick and tired of same people winning over and over again. Olivia is kind of a fresh face, i liked her album too.

Funny because it’s clear you prefer SOUR to win over HTE; thus you hate to see people compare these 2 albums when they are less enthusiastic about SOUR. If they praise SOUR in a SOUR/HTE comparison post, would you still bash them for comparing them 2 ?It’s all about personal feelings after all.

Btw, comparisons between SOUR and HTE are totally allowed and inevitable because we all know they might be the top 2 in many categories.

I have a strong feeling that a deluxe version of Sour is coming, and that a potential Billie collab could be on it. Olivia and Billie have interacted a lot lately and Olivia even showed her new album a lot of love on social media as well as attending the album party. And as we all know, they’re on the same label meaning a collaboration is even more likely.

If it ever happens, Billie x Olivia is a sure lock for BPDGP!

no you are trying to be toxic for no reason. I’m stating my reasons for loving the song. It’s an obvious breakup song which is what all of Spur is. Olivia of course didn’t invent grunge rock but she is one of many who have popularized it again for the new generation. Prior to Liv who was topping charts with pop/rock songs like Good 4 U?

The irony is that HTE (the song, and the album) was recorded way before Sour was even announced and probably even before drivers licence was out. So there’s literally no reason to compare or say ‘Sour vibes’.
