She released 3 songs titled “Joni”, “I Hate You” & “Nightbird” about 3 weeks ago. They probably are accessible on YouTube. “Joni” is absolutely beautiful and definitely one of her best.

Thanks, will check them out. I’ll listen to them.

I still think a rapper getting into AOTY whether it’s Drake or somebody else.

Yup. Either Drake, Kanye or Tyler.

Tyler most likely, not a surprise if Montero gets in too. Donda and Certified Panned Boy won’t make it based on critics reception, industry probably feel the same thing. Too much many bullshit surrounding the albums.

If there’s any justice in this world it will either be Tyler or Nas. Neither Drake nor Kanye’s albums are worthy of representing rap in AOTY. Both were underwhelming, bloated, messes.

Traditional R&B Performance is the only category in the R&B field that I invest myself in annually. I sing and listen to it more than any other genre, so I consider myself an expert on the genre, especially where the Grammys are concerned. That said, here are my predictions for the category.

    Traditional R&B Performance

Jazmine Sullivan – “Pick Up Your Feelings” (WINNER)

    H.E.R. – “Fight For You”*

Jam & Lewis x Babyface – “He Don’t Know Nothin’ Bout It”

Lucky Daye ft. Yebba – “How Much Can A Heart Take”

PJ Morton x BJ The Chicago Kid x Kenyon Dixon ft. Charlie Bereal – “Bring It On Home to Me”

Alt: Devon Gilfillian – “Inner City Blues (Make Me Wanna Holler)”; Al Green – “Before The Next Teardrop Falls”; Jennifer Hudson – “Here I Am (Singing My Way Home).”

*H.E.R. could earn double nods for “Fight For You” if it gets nominated for Best Song Written for Visual Media. If that happens, she’d most likely win there.

Who am I? You'll find out soon. Ciao, for now!

Will Silk Sonic submit “Leave The Door Open” for the 2022 or 2023 Grammys?

My current shortlist for Album of the Year:

•Foo Fighters – Medicine at Midnight
•Billie Eilish – Happier than Ever
    •Doja Cat – Planet HER
    •Kacey Musgraves – Star-Crossed
    •Olivia Rodrigo – Sour
•Bruce Springsteen – Letter to You
•Megan thee Stallion – Good News
    •Jam & Lewis – Jam & Lewis, Vol 1

*if Kacey’s album underwhelms I can see Taylor getting in. For now I’ll leave her out for the folklore (deluxe edition).

2022. They’re the front runners for Record of the Year so it would be foolish for them not to.

The song will be old news by 2023 so it would behoove them to take advantage of the song’s popularity now

These predictions would be realistic with a committee, without Jam and Lewis don’t have a chance and there would be more pop representation

Kacey’s album already underwhelmed. It’s not happening.
