Can Lo Vas a Olvidar compete for Best Song Written for Visual Media? Who are the frontrunners in this category?

    Agatha All Along (Wandavision)
    Call Me Cruella (Cruella)
    Comedy (Inside)
Fight for You (Judas and the Black Messiah)
    Io Sí (The Life Ahead)
    Lo Vas a Olvidar (Euphoria)
Tigress & Tweed (The United States vs. Billie Holiday)

There’s also We the People which has songs from H.E.R., Brittany Howard, Brandi Carlile, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and more; and “The Rose Song” written by Olivia Rodrigo for High School Musical.

I’m sure there are others I’m forgetting

Good list. I would also include Home All Summer from In the Heights and The Anonymous Ones from Dear Evan Hansen as possibilities. I think this is H.E.R.’s to lose

Get real!  Brittany Howard’s Jaime: Reimagined is NOT happening in Album of the Year.

SOUR has been a great era for Olivia but it certainly isn’t comparable to Jagged Little Pill. Either way, I love the musician on musician series for Rolling Stone.

Sour, a debut album released from a girl straight out of high school musical with mostly plagiarised songs written around an ex boyfriend who is now, gay.

    No.

    1. Joshua Bassett is bisexual.
    2. Neither Taylor Swift or Paramore ever outright accused her of plagiarism, and even if they had it was two songs, far from the majority of the album.
    3. Who gives a fuck about it being her debut, her age, or her ex?

It was a good read. Olivia in particular talked about how Jagged Little Pill has inspired/affected her, songwriting, etc. She actually is a huge fan of the album and the Broadway show too.

This whole Kacey/Grammy story is actually getting more traction than I was anticipating… I wouldn’t be surprised if it actually helps her in the end
