what are u guys expecting halsey to get nominated in though? good for her she got the cover of the billboard magazine but so did gaga last year and she only got 2 noms. halsey is not on the lvl of gaga so i don’t even know where i’d put halsey in a year thats more competitive in pop than last year. i mean if she gets into rock thats amazing but i still see her having to compete in pop and she’ll struggle.

I think she can make it past the screening panel for Alternative Album, otherwise she’s finished. If she does get in Alternative though voters could namecheck her Trent Reznor-Atticus Ross-produced album, which is also her most acclaimed work to date.

    FYC: 64th Annual GRAMMY Awards

Billie Eilish: Record Of The Year, Album Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Pop Vocal Album

Arlo Parks: Best Alternative Music Album

    Jazmine Sullivan: Best R&B Album

Tyler, The Creator: Best Rap Album

I think this is Halsey’s year. She might take Alt Album with a good campaign.

Imagine Halsey’s album got into Engineered (given Trent and Atticus’s involvement) as its sole nomination lol. Her fans would be sad she wouldn’t be credited

Of the 13 you have I’d cut Kanye, Tyler, Brittany, Drake, Lil Nas X and Doja from predictions and add Tony and Gaga

The Variety Album of the Year predictions are spot on. I feel most of those records made a significant impact in 2021 & truly reflect the year. However, I’m surprised Foo Fighters’s Medicine at Midnight was excluded. They’re a veteran Rock band with an impressive Grammy history who remained relevant during a pandemic. There’s always the possibility of omissions for any artists, let alone proven favorites, but as of now the Fighters are still in my predictions.
