positions isn’t even falling, it’s going back up to top 2 now that the christmas songs are gone and i don’t believe it would’ve left the top 3 if not for the christmas songs

Get real!  Ariana Grande will NOT be winning any Grammys as usual.  Pure filler as always.

34+35 is officially Platinum. Ariana has managed to squeeze two hits from Positions. She’s a lock for PVA & PSP nominations.

Obviously the final nominees will be different, but if the first round of voting was today, these would be my predictions for the Pop field. thank God this is going to change a LOT.

    bold denotes possible nominee

    BPSP

    • Justin Bieber – Lonely
    • Billie Eilish – Therefore I Am
    • Ariana Grande – positions
    • Shawn Mendes – Wonder (shows how weak the competition is so far)
    • Taylor Swift – willow

    BPD/GP

    • Bad Bunny & Jhay Cortez – DÁKITI
    • Gabby Barrett & Charlie Puth – I Hope Remix (yikes)
    • Justin Bieber & Chance The Rapper – Holy (yikes)
    • Dua Lipa & DaBaby – Levitating (still eligible because Future Nostalgia is going to lose AOTY & BPVA)
    • 24kGoldn & Iann Dior – Mood (yikes)
    • The Weeknd & ROSALÍA – Blinding Lights Remix

    BPVA

    • BTS – BE (Adele & Billie will probably steamroll them)
    • Miley Cyrus – Plastic Hearts (LMAO)
    • Ariana Grande – Positions (will get a nod but end up in 5th place)
    • Shawn Mendes – Wonder (not happening either)
    • Taylor Swift – evermore (she’s not winning twice in a row, let alone against Adele)

    FYC:

Album of the Year: "Call Me If You Get Lost" by Tyler, The Creator
Record of the Year: "WAP" by Cardi B & Megan Thee Stallion
Song of the Year: "Good Days" by SZA ft. Jacob Collier

    BPSP Justin Bieber – Lonely

Lonely is a collaboration with Benny Blanco so it won’t be eligible for Pop Solo.

Ariana’s greater chance is POV. She probably gets zero nomination with positions or 34+35 and the era will serve Reputation with only the parent album gets nominated.

I highkey think Justin’s going 3/3 again. I can’t really see Ariana or Taylor in BPDG tbh

so far, Megan Thee Stallion & Chris Stapleton are bigger contenders for an AOTY nomination than Taylor Swift. she’ll only be nominated again/allowed to win for the 4th time in the late 2020s.

Taylor FTW 4x back to back, consecutive AOTY winner ❤️!!!

    Why not.

In all seriousness, Ed Sheeran is going to be an interesting case for the Grammys 2022.
After how Divide and Shape of You performed esp in the GF.

I would prefer to see the album version of levitating submitted to pop solo if future nostalgia doesn’t win this year tbh
