Yeah Wap/Up are not happening in BMV, let alone winning

I guess neither WAP or Up will happen. Cardi will probably have a new hit for the summer like I Like It and that will be the one submitted.

Paul McCartney and Bruce Springsteen have released solid records within eligibility period but too bad Grammy are done with veterans.

I still believe that Cardi lost a HUGE opportunity by not submitting WAP on the last eligibility period, but oh well.

I guess neither WAP or Up will happen. Cardi will probably have a new hit for the summer like I Like It and that will be the one submitted.

Yup I agree, we may see another release coming up during May/June and be promoted as a summer hit

Don’t count them out yet, the Grammys love to use them as fillers and sometimes even as winners too. Many of them receive awards that have been long overdue in their careers (Steely Dan literally beat Radiohead’s Kid A and Eminem’s The Marshall Mathers LP to Album Of The Year)

FYC | Best music this season:

Arlo Parks - Collapsed In Sunbeams
    St. Vincent - Daddy's Home
    Jazmine Sullivan - Heaux Tales
Tyler, The Creator - Call Me If You Get Lost
    Wolf Alice - Blue Weekend

WAP is not eligible for Music Video. For music videos the video has to be released during the eligibility period.

It’s only eligible for ROTY, SOTY, Rap Perf, Rap Song

The last old fart to be nominated in the General Field was Tanya Tucker and that was because of Brandi’s blue ribbon pannel connections

The last old fart to be nominated for AOTY was Robert Plant 12 years ago. The Shammys are done with them.

The Grammys are done with veterans. Unless they release a 10/10 record with 5 #1 hits, or if one of their songwriters/producers has connections with the BRP (a la Tanya Tucker), they won’t happen.

Get real! Evermore and “Willow” are NOT happening in Album of the Year and Song of the Year respectively.

Taylor is not coming to the big 4 but she already has her nominations in solo pop and best pop album

Get real! Olivia Rodrigo does NOT deserve Record of the Year and/or Song of the Year. BARF!

that’s who the voters say, not you. so far, olivia is the main and most logical bet for soty, roty and pop solo
