He isn’t. He was already a nominee for best R&B Album this year.

FYC | Best music this season:

Arlo Parks - Collapsed In Sunbeams
    St. Vincent - Daddy's Home
    Jazmine Sullivan - Heaux Tales
Tyler, The Creator - Call Me If You Get Lost
    Wolf Alice - Blue Weekend

Yeah, Giveon would have been an obvious choice had he not surprised in R&B Album. I do think Olivia is starting to fade, she needs that album before the summer and get another mid-level hit under her belt to not be seen as a one hit wonder. She’ll get the Lorde treatment and not make BNA and could still make it in other categories like ROTY, SOTY and/or Pop Solo.

Even against Silk Sonic and Billie Eilish, Adele would still win.

This is going to be a very interesting line up.

Billie has won in the ‘big four’ for the past 2 years. I believe it hurts her chances against someone who hasn’t released anything for almost 6 years like Adele.

What if Adele’s music flops for the first time, though? 21 and 25 were gigantic mostly due to having the monstrous lead single hits Rolling In The Deep and Hello, respectively. But it’s not like Adele will not have to repeat that to win big again at the Grammys.

I feel Olivia is losing steam. When is her second single coming ?

apparently pop radio programmers have already heard the 2nd single so it must be coming very soon, it could be as soon as next week
