The new Zayn video is looking pretty nice tbh and it fits the song quite well. But a Grammy for Zayn after everything he had to say about them is looking pretty unlikely at this point. Besides that I can only think of FKA Twigs’ “Don’t Judge Me” video off the top of my head as a reasonable contender.

    I liked “We’re Good” a lot too.

FYC | Best music this season:

Marina - Ancient Dreams In A Modern Land
Arlo Parks - Collapsed In Sunbeams
    St. Vincent - Daddy's Home
    Jazmine Sullivan - Heaux Tales
    Wolf Alice - Blue Weekend

I’d forgotten this gem was released in september. This one deserves a BMV Grammy so bad!

i think she could have done better with the video, but I do appreciate the deep meaning behind it. It’s also beautifully shot. My bottom ass really wanted Gaga to give me whore in space odyssey! 😆

So does anyone have any ideas for Best Music Video? The only real music video that I feel like people have talked about this year is Montero. That being said, I don’t know how eager they’ll be to nominate Lil Nas X giving a lap dance to the devil. It is still possible though. I can’t imagine Willow happening when Cardigan missed. I like the We’re Good video a lot but I don’t see it happening when Don’t Start Now missed. Maybe drivers license can ride off of the songs success to get a nom. Doesn’t feel likely considering the video isn’t really anything special. Last year they nominated Lockdown and Goliath, both of which were about social issues (Lockdown was inspired by BLM, Goliath was inspired by climate change.) I’m struggling to find any videos in this vein that were released during eligibility. Does anyone have any ideas?

    I have

Montero (Call Me By Your Name) and drivers license so far…

Driver’s License is no OTR to get a nomination in BMV, plus the video wasn’t as impactful

maybe deja vu could get a BMV nomination? It’s better than drivers license’s music video

The fact Folklore-Evermore-Fearless are all highly acclaimed is kinda raising high her meta score artist average. She is making a string of acclaimed albums.

Montero should win BMV, but it feels wrong because it Twigs should have also won with a similar concept

    RIP SOPHIE
