People say that with “folklore” and “evermore”, Taylor went in an “alternative” route.

Why was “folklore” not submitted to the “alternative” category?

Did Taylor and her team think the “Pop” category was a safer bet?

Will they do the same with “evermore”?

AOTY - Back Of My Mind
    ROTY - Levitating with DaBaby
    SOTY - Levitating with DaBaby
Best New Artist - Olivia Rodrigo
    BPSP - We're Good
    BPD/GP - Levitating with DaBaby
Best Song Written For Visual Media - Can They Hear Us
Best Music Video - Levitating with DaBaby / We're Good / Love Again
Best Music Film - Studio 2054
Best Spoken Word Album - The Meaning Of Mariah Carey

She would be moved to pop.

I like how you all are trying your hardest to be polite with Olivia Rodrigo’s album cover. If I’m allowed to say one thing it will be that the Target version is 1000 miles better.

Anyways, do you think SOUR is going to be well received by critics or will it be panned?

FYC | Best music this season:

Arlo Parks - Collapsed In Sunbeams
    St. Vincent - Daddy's Home
    Jazmine Sullivan - Heaux Tales
Tyler, The Creator - Call Me If You Get Lost
    Wolf Alice - Blue Weekend

The Target version is 100x better.

I predict a 75-80 score on Metacritic. However, I think a lot of critics will highlight the Taylor and Lorde influences if none of the rest of the tracks are different from DL and deja vu, which I don’t think will play in her favor.

I don’t hate the album cover actually. The Target one is better but I’m fine with both. I’m also happy it’s 11 tracks, I think she could deliver a real slick album with minimal filler.

I feel like its Bieber vs Ariana on pop rn we need more names asap

By now yeah, but if Billie releases I think she got this.

Tbh I also see Peaches as the frountunner in DG by now.

Super curious about Billie’s new single. As people (including me) loved her blonde pics on insta, I expect a smash comeback.

“Peaches” is not a very good song. But it helps that Daniel Caesar & Giveon are featured. They add some credibility. As of now, I see a Record of the Year nod happening too.
