The way I just dropped Positions with 100/1 odds yesterday cause y’all convinced me she won’t get nominated…

It would not have under normal circumstances..it had mediocre success and mediocre acclaim when compared to her last era but now it should get in.

LOL at the people who call Folklore’s win/nomination a committee pick, but negates the 5 AOTY nominees who skipped out on album genre nominations.

Additionally, Folklore cannot be a committee pick, because when have they made the actual correct decision?

    RIP SOPHIE

Folklore definitely made the top 5

committee engineered it to win, intentionally or not

The new categories: Best Global Music Performance (Global Music Field) Best Música Urbana Album (Latin Music Field)

Oh, baby!!! YES!! YEEEESSSSSSSS!!! (Why the hell didn’t they just add a Global Music Song) Category.

Eligibility period has been extended by one month. Recordings from September 1, 2020 to September 30, 2021 are eligible for nomination.

Reminder that “WAP” was released all the way in August. It also debuted at #1 in August.

For the new Global Music Performance category:

    1. “Koroba” or “Dangrous Love” or “49:99″ by Tiwa Savage (bitch jus gotta be in here!)

2.”Woman” by Rema (“Bounce” isn’t Global enough imo)

    3. “Kilometre” by Burna Boy

    4. “Godly” by Omah Lay

Can’t really make realistic predictions here since idk what the pattern will be, And I doubt it’d be all African either.

Damn I wish they made this category earlier. The Lion King: The Gift would’ve cleaned out.

Updated predictions after the mess they pulled:

    Album of the Year
    1. Bilie Eilish – Happier Than Ever
    2. Starting Over – Chris Stapleton
    3. An Evening With Silk Sonic – Silk Sonic
    4. SOUR – Olivia Rodrigo
    5. Positions – Ariana Grande
    6. Good News – Megan Thee Stallion
    7. Justice – Justin Bieber
    8. TBA – H.E.R.

    Record of the Year
    1. drivers license – Olivia Rodrigo
    2. Leave The Door Open – Silk Sonic
    3. Therefore I Am – Billie Eilish
    4. positions – Ariana Grande
    5. Peaches – Justin Bieber ft. Daniel Caesar & Giveon
    6. Levitating – Dua Lipa ft. DaBaby
    7. Up – Cardi B (for some reason I’m not really buying WAP getting in over a year after its peak)
    8. Good Days – SZA (replacing it with Kiss Me More if it keeps on being as huge as it is right now)

SOTY will probably be very similar to ROTY with the exception of willow, Starting Over and Damage which I could see sneaking in instead of Levitating, Up, Peaches or positions.
