Olivia will win Pop Solo. Pop Album could go to Billie. There have only been two repeat winners in that category: Adele & Kelly. But Billie is so liked by voters that she could easily join them.

She should drop before that right…but yeah I think she will drop near that date. I was hoping she would drop around September this year.

yeah I meant that the festival is June 2022 and not 2021. I think she could drop next spring or soon during the summer. I think someone said that the new sound is pop rock and psychedelics Beach Boys style so I honestly  do not see her dropping this in the winter lol

And I think it’s still too soon to predict how big Sour is gonna be. As of now, I’d say she is locked for BNA and has good chances for Pop Solo with Driver’s License, which was a hit. Other than that, we’ll see!!

Olivia can take pop solo, BNA, and maybe SOTY. Pop Album will be hard with Billie in contention. ROTY will be hard too with Bruno and Anderson (plus LTDO deserves imo). Not completely sold on an AOTY nom, but it could happen if SOUR maintains longevity and her team takes advantage of the era.

Why nobody thinks J. Cole in AOTY nomination? Y’all thinking 5 – 6 pop albums but not one rap album in AOTY line-up.

Yeah I highly doubt AOTY will consist of the entire PVA category. 2-3 will get in. Bieber, Grande, & Swift could be snubbed. Rodrigo & Eilish seem the mostly likely to represent Pop.

I love Lorde but on a straight vote last time she lost to a 6 song Coldplay EP that absolutely no one had heard of nor cared about. She won’t be a factor unfortunately.

ROTY will be hard too with Bruno and Anderson (plus LTDO deserves imo).

LTDO is also going to be competing in SOTY?….

Don’t really get why everyone’s saying DL is above LTDO for SOTY. It’s just as as baity, albeit in a very different way, will be more recent during voting, was still a #1 hit and is written by not 1, not 2 but THREE different SOTY winners.

    FYC
    AOTY: Blue Weekend-Wolf Alice
    ROTY/SOTY: WAP-Cardi B ft. Megan Thee Stallion
    Best Drama Actress: Mj Rodriguez

Because pop is more accesible and Grammy voters have consistently favored Pop over other genres, especially Rap.

If both Dua Lipa and Taylor Swift weren’t able to win both Pop Album and Pop Solo, there’s NO WAY Olivia is winning both…

    1+1=4?

Yeah Grammy is borderline racist and doesn’t like rap, we know that. Still, The Off-Season has a better chance in AOTY than some of the pop albums we’re talking about.

Cardi & Drake (or Kendrick) will probably be the Rap reps in Album of the Year based on popularity. Cole would likely need a panel vote. His albums, though great & critically acclaimed, tend to come & go.

I don’t know if they drop albums this year, they might miss the deadline. Cole’s album is didn’t come and go this time, so far he’s the strongest rap rep this year, more than Megan’s album.
