What is your most reliable music review source? I’m talking about the likes of Pitchfork, Rolling Stone and so on.

Entertainment Weekly is my favorite, I like Rolling Stone when they’re not focused so much on classic rock dudes and every random song or album they release in the current day. Pitchfork tries way to be hard to be cool for me to like them.

Could possibly see Gaga/Tony in AOTY, they’ll have a narrative = possibly Tony’s last Album, Gaga’s been under awarded in the GF. But would be difficult to see a jazz covers album winning, so there are pros and cons, certainly.

rock I think. If I’m right rongo has an album too and that would be rock too. Imagine that weirdness of both get nominated, which I don’t think will happen but honestly anything is possible lol. Edit: ringo not rongo

I’m not counting on a AOTY nomination for Olivia, I heard a snippet from her next single ‘good 4 u’ and it sounded like a disney soundtrack with very immature lyrics, if her whole album follows this sound then well..

Honey, this year is dry as fuck.  If Olivia Rodrigo sells well, she can get in AOTY.  BARF!

“Tracks from an album released during last year’s eligibility period are eligible in the American Roots Music, Country, Dance, Gospel, Pop, R&B, Rap and Rock Fields, and in Record Of The Year, provided the track was not entered the previous year and provided the album did not win a GRAMMY”

Does this mean that Giveon’s Heartbreak Anniversary cannot be nominated in Song of the Year? It’s currently very high in the predictions…

EDIT: Never mind I’m a dumb dumb, didn’t realised he “reissued” last year’s album. Ignore me.

EDIT #2: Wait… the deluxe of an album can’t be nominated when the original was nominated. Does my original comment apply?

And not like it was gonna happen but “WAP” has no chance at SOTY?

No, the album WAP is going to be on hasn’t been released yet, so I think that it should be fine for SOTY.

If Olivia is a lock for ROTY, SOTY, & BNA, an AOTY nod shouldn’t be that hard to secure. Without the BRP she’ll easily get in if SOUR streams well and manages to produce a few more hit singles.

Dua Lipas Brit performance > Grammy performance

The drivers license girl sounded like Selena Gomez at the Brits lol. I don’t see her winning big at the Grammys just because she’s trying so hard to be the Taylor Swift of the Generation Z
