There is a reliable insider on another music forum who says Lorde’s new single is coming soon. Its name is two words, starting with an S and a P. Each word is 5 letters and it’s also the album name. Very excited!

It’s been nearly confirmed that the title is “Solar Power”

Why on earth would Lorde, who lost to a 5 song Coldplay EP that no one had heard of, be competitive under a straight vote system?

If she is going to smash, yes..I see her doing well after Driver’s license and Billie songs did well. She will likely have critics and commercial success. If she tanks commercially , yeah she isn’t going to be competition.

Lost Cause was nice.. I can see it having longevity and doing well on radio… although I liked the video more than the song itself.

All of these singles released so far from Billie’s new album don’t feel single-worthy. She needs something stronger if she wants longevity with this era. So far, I don’t think this is going to be her year at the Grammy’s.

Lost Cause is cute. But this is the girl who goldderby claims is the most original thing to come out since sliced bread?! This song is a complete rip off of Sade, Fiona Apple, Alicia Keys. Like gtfoh!

No sha-de(literally), but I feel like it’s if Billie made a Billie track without any experimentation and interesting production choices. I like Billie’s tracks, but it feels extremely like a snooze feast for her. She could do better, she and all of us know.

“My future” still is the best track we’ve heard from “Happier Than Ever” so far, imo.

But the snippet for the title track gives me hope!

I’d rather be praised by Dionne Warwick tbh

One of the greatest R&B singers ever. I first heard Dionne because of J Dilla. He sampled her song ” You’re Gonna Need Me ” on his ” Stop ” from his instrumental Donuts album. Both tracks are masterpiece. She’s also very supportive on young artists and generation.

like folklore, i don’t care if the album is made for radio or not. It only matters if it is quality and appeals to me. Now does the song have quality we’ve expect from Billie. No.

if the quality of these singles reflects the album accurately, i won’t be predicting billie over olivia rodrigo anywhere. and this is coming from somebody who has been very hesitant to heavily predict olivia but placed billie #1 in aoty right when she announced her album

the songs are just not that good. they’re not interesting at all. my future was fine but it’s gone downhill quickly from that

Another snoozefest, she really thought this was her 7-11. But in fact, none of the new songs have the emotion of EIW nor the originality of Bad Guy/Bury a friend.

It’s curtains for Billie Eilish. That bitch is over. She needs to give back her Grammys to Lizzo or something because FINNEAS hasn’t given her a good song since 2019. These past 3 songs are fucking garbage.
