“Secret” Grammy favorite? He’s won Grammys in each of the last 3 years and is arguably the frontrunner to win ROTY and SOTY this year.

” Secret ” Grammy favorite because he won in genre fields, not in GF. Just like Lalah Hathaway, PJ Morton, Angelique Kidjo. They won in their genres but don’t make it to GF. Andy will broke this next year.

Rap is a pretty major genre field, and he beat ROTY and SOTY nominees to win there.

This is great, that means they really like him in those R&B and Rap genres. I am rooting for him since his 2016 album Malibu. He will be a total Grammy darling with this Silk Sonic project.

AGREED!!! These Billie singles/promo singles are terrible. It will definitely be nominated but I don’t see her winning anything for this album. Olivia will be the Grammys new “go-to” girl.

Calling it now: Silk Sonic is winning both ROTY/SOTY. I don’t see Olivia getting more votes than Bruno & Anderson.

I don’t know about SOTY. It’s basically baby-making song vs break-up song. I don’t know who wins or a third favorite comes within these 4 months.

“That’s What I Like” was a baby making song & it won.

That’s true but 2018 was the year that voters got the biggest hard-on for Bruno which i don’t know the hard-on will be the same.

The Grammys love Anderson so much, they’ve given him awards in many genres. Imagine the Bruno love mating with the Anderson love and resulting in a winning baby.

Honey, posters put these white girls (Billie Eilish, Lorde, etc.) on a pedestal, but they are NOT delivering the goods.

    It’s just 😭😭

Absolutely. They have the perfect cross-genre appeal.

I’m still not sure about the Silk Sonic sweep after this year’s mindfuckery.

It’s already June and this year is still weak. Where are the summer releases?
