You guys don’t put it past the Grammys to want to give Billie Eilish her third ROTY win.

Believe it or not IMO Billie’s best shot are at the song categories. Olivia has BPVA on lock imo.

Someone will be in suicide watch if Evermore gets nominated let alone winning

Taylor has gotten 8 consecutive genre nominations, 3 AOTY wins and will be having momentum all year round thanks to the rerecordings.

But the girlies are delusional and genuinely believe J. Cole, St. Vincent and Jazmine Sullivan are going to beat Taylor in a straight vote! Like seriously, the fact that anyone is predicting Heaux Tales over Evermore is genuinely hysterical.

AOTY (in order of most likely for a nomination): Silk Sonic, Billie, Olivia, H.E.R., Taylor, Ariana, Justin, Chris

And before anyone tries it, make sure to add an actual reason for why the genre that’s won 26/40 of the past decades general field awards won’t dominate under a straight vote.

    FYC
    AOTY: Blue Weekend-Wolf Alice
    ROTY/SOTY: WAP-Cardi B ft. Megan Thee Stallion
    Best Drama Actress: Mj Rodriguez

Ariana Grande is not happening in AOTY. Positions is a weak album with 0 singles with longevity. She is going to get 1-2 nominations just like Lady Gaga last year.

I don’t like the subtle dissing people for expressing opposite opinions. You can be sure about your take but not bringing others down. You can do your ” pop domination ” take for the songs but for albums i just don’t see it. We’ll see it on nominations day.

We can’t really compare 2021 to 2022. We don’t know if Rain On Me was in the top 8 for either ROTY or SOTY. It’s possible that the BRP rightfully blocked it.

In such weak year, Ariana should easily sneak into the top 8 of a category and score 0 wins in 3/4 nominations. #8 in ROTY or SOTY + 2/3 Pop categories

    FYC:

Record of the Year: Hit Different by SZA ft. Pharrell Williams & co.
Song of the Year: Good Days by SZA ft. Jacob Collier

AOTY (in order of most likely for a nomination): Silk Sonic, Billie, Olivia, H.E.R., Taylor, Ariana, Justin, Chris

I can see Taylor, Billie and Olivia in Album Of The Year from the Pop field, but Ariana and Justin remain wild card contenders for me. If Justin is lucky enough he might eventually get in, but I genuinely find it hard to see Ariana Grande’s “Positions” shortlisted.

In all fairness, I don’t think anyone can define with certainty what constitues “delusional predictions” this particular season for the lack of precedent. It could either happen that they go massively for popular acts or that we end up with a bunch of albums from people we’ve never heard of before. The best thing we could do to get a clue on what might prevail is look at the GF winners (not the nominees, as they were chosen by pannels) throughout the years, especially the recent ones, and try to find a pattern that could hint at favoritism towards a specific genre from the entire voting body.

FYC | Best music this season:

Arlo Parks - Collapsed In Sunbeams
    St. Vincent - Daddy's Home
    Jazmine Sullivan - Heaux Tales
Tyler, The Creator - Call Me If You Get Lost
    Wolf Alice - Blue Weekend

Positions (the single) had longevity isn’t her her longest top 10 hit or charting song?

She also had 3 songs in top 10 on Pop radio.. Ariana could Easily release a music video (let’s say stock footage of her wedding) as a POV music video and have it jump into the top 10, possibly go #1.

Ariana’s record in general field is not that impressive. Even during her peak, she missed SOTY. Positions received lukewarm reception with most pointed out that the album was like TUNA recycle.

“POV” is arguably the best song on Positions and of Ariana’s entire career. “Imagine” is damn close.

And sadly they’re not pushing it):

Even radio has started to drop it
