H.E.R.’s debut album is being released next Friday, June 18th. How do you guys think she will fare with her official debut album?
I think she’s locked for AOTY/ROTY/SOTY noms. And I’ve been saying this, but I wouldn’t be surprised if she sweeps.
She knows all of the right people, performs at all of the right events, and is a respected instrumentalist. Again, seeing someone like Chris Stapleton praise her made me realize why she keeps winning at every award show.
+ I’ve said this before but the HER vs. Silk Sonic battle will be interesting. A lot of vote splitting potential there.
Bad Bunny is not making it into pop or soty/roty with Dakiti, or any track for that matter that doesn’t have a beloved or popular Grammy/us artist on it.

Out of curiosity, what is your current top 5 for Best Music Film? You seem VERY confident that a film detailing the making of this years current AOTY winner won’t make it in such a weak year, so I would like to know what will.
I’m totally devastated. There’s absolutely no excuse for this. We had everything we needed to make it to next year’s Champions League and we failed. We are Liverpool and qualifying to the competition is the bare minimum. I am sorry but it’s too soon for an uplifting or optimistic post. We let you and ourselves down.
