This is nice lineup. H.E.R. is the frontrunner as her song is up for SOTY and an Oscar winner. If anyone can upset, it could be Jon Batiste. Also, I would look out for the Lucky Daye and Yebba song with the latter won in this category a few years back.

    For now:
    Winner: Fight for You
    Runner Up: I Need You
Upset: How Much Can a Heart Take

“Fight for You,” easily. Grammy favorite, Oscar winner…

“I Need You” would be the spoiler, but they can easily reward Jon Batiste in a bunch of other categories. I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets five in one night.

Fight For You is easily winning this. H.E.R. is coming fresh off a Oscar win. She’s winning her nomination in the Film Category. I feel like she’s underestimated in SOTY too.

This is a great category I’d be fine with whoever wins… though I prefer Fight For You or Born Again.

I’m gonna be safe and predict “Fight for You” because it won the Oscar. But damn this category could go so many ways. Batiste over performed, Glasper is always a wild card, & R&B voters seem to really love PJ Morton. This field tends to throw curveballs. We might get one in this category.

I think H.E.R. and Jazmine will divide votes and Batiste will take R&B Album.
