Best rock album has more competition than best pop vocal album omg. And in general rock field is more crowded than pop

I just noticed Wanda posted this about Kacey submissions days ago.

kacey musgraves: roty, aoty, soty, country solo perf, country song, music vid, music film, pop vocal album

Does this mean that Kacey will have her album in pop but her songs will be on country?

Weird that she doesn’t have any pop solo submission like with High Horse 3 years ago.

It was confirmed in that article talking about her being moved to Pop that Camera Roll was accepted into the Country categories. I always assumed Kacey submitted Justified to Pop Solo and the GF, but I completely missed Pop Solo wasn’t in Wanda’s list. Maybe the voter didn’t search/see her there?

No but the way Ariana, who is often mocked for being bad at submissions, actually was one of the few smart ones in the whole Pop Duo mess this year and now is likely to get a nomination with a non-single that barely charted makes me chuckle lol.

I LOVE safety net though so I will be very happy if it actually happens.

I think Kid laroi will happen in best pop duo/group since he’s the second biggest contender for BNA and the nomination is a mess anyways and without you with Miley was top 10 hit

Yeah I also think Without You will be nominated. The category isn’t even that competitive anymore.

Yeah I agree. Which is why I never understood why some people were freaking out about “Stay” not being submitted. “Without You” was still a hit and the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category is wide open with the exception of 2-3 safe bets. The Kid LAROI could be a potential contender even with the less successful song under consideration just based on his breakthrough year.
