Does the best album always win in the lineup? Gaga is past overdue, and this is Tony last album (probably). Not saying it will win, but a lot of things overdue.

I do think the best album has won most years, but the point is that albums are supposed to get votes for quality and not overdue stuff. When was the last time an AOTY winner won because of an overdue narrative?

not really lol it’s just gaga being overdue for a GF grammy (which voters probably didn’t care for in the long run), tony has everything he could want including an aoty award
