Summer? There’s really no passion for her. Look at her lack of Soul Train Award nominations. That should have been the first sign that she doesn’t have much of a chance. Not to mention, she is probably hugely affected by being at the bottom of every entry list that’s not a songwriting category.

ROTY – As It Was vs Easy On Me
SOTY – Easy On Me
Pop Album – Harry’s House
Pop Solo – Easy On Me
Exactly. Except I hope AoTY went to others.

November 16, 2022 at 6:59 am #1205156074When I saw that Taylor didin’t get all the nominations expected I wondered if the whole 20 album version thing may have contributed to some people not voting for her. I read that some in the industry were tossing some shade over it. I wonder if that will have any impact on her chances of winning. I’m admittedly not all that familiar with this kind of thing since I haven’t really followed the Grammy politics too closely. Does anyone know if this could have a potential impact?

Gurl, your opinions aside, it’s not so much about Renaissance, it’s more about Bey herself winning.

After what happened with watermelon sugar, I can see a situation where As it was garners more support in the pop field. Noting that As it was is even bigger than watermelon sugar. Harry will win pop solo performance or BPVA. Maybe even both.
Adele is stronger in the GF and will likely prevail there.

Tobias Jesso Jr is a producer on 30, and he’s nominated.

Tobias Jesso is nominated for a Songwriter of the Year and he’s credited for two Adele and one Harry Styles songs. The Dream also got nominated for Songwriter of the Year and he’s credited for six Beyonce songs. It’s not the same.

November 16, 2022 at 8:57 am #1205156256If 30 doesn’t win AOTY, I’m absolutely fine with the alternatives tbh.
Renaissance slaps, I love how Harry has handled being a pop artist. LNT talking could have hit No 1 with a high profile remix but he took the Adele-Kendrick route (aka fuck that & fuck you route), same reason I rate Olivia.
I always enjoyed Brandi’s music and Kendrick is my rap 🐐. It’s a solid lineup.

It’s okay that Greg Kurstin isn’t nominated for Producer of the year, he’s featured in AOTY anyway
