PJ Morton is second in R&B album. He got a R&B song nomination with a song that starts with “P”. He has some passion behind him if there was ever someone to upset Mary.
ReplyCopy URLDecember 1, 2022 at 2:29 pm #1205174351Honey, Mary is NOT better than FanMail. They’re both equally good. Same with CrazySexyCool and My Life. TLC deserved both of their Best R&B Album wins.
ReplyCopy URLDecember 1, 2022 at 2:32 pm #1205174355Honey, I do NOT think PJ Morton is second in Best R&B Album. Lucky Daye is second. He got in Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Song.

He didn’t get into R&B Song (well, kinda sorta… he’s nominated for GMG). But I do believe he has supporters. His competition is steeper here, though.
ReplyCopy URLDecember 1, 2022 at 6:27 pm #1205174639Chris Brown might surprise in R&B Album. He’s probably 2nd to Mary. But I wouldn’t underestimate the support he has within the industry.
I could see this happening depending on how strong his sympathy wave is and how long it lasts until voting starts. I imagine people may also notice he only has one Grammy and may think he’s underawarded.
He also has a current hit that wasn’t eligible this year due to being from an older album.

She submitted Pressure to 2022 Grammys. She submitted Hoodie this time around
ReplyCopy URLDecember 10, 2022 at 3:29 pm #1205186779“Hurt Me So Good” reached its peak of #1 on Adult R&B Radio. CUFF IT is right behind on #2. I really hope Jazmine wins Best R&B Performance. I feel like she can overcome with her Passion. I feel like it’s the Best Song in the R&B Perf line up.
ReplyCopy URLDecember 10, 2022 at 5:44 pm #1205186933Honey, “Hurt Me So Good” is definitely the best song nominated in Best R&B Performance. Do NOT think it can get past “Here With Me” and “Virgo’s Groove.”

oh, maybe pressure could’ve gotten a nom if she waited to submit it because it didn’t chart until well after 2022 voting was over
