Get real! Kaytranda & H.E.R. are NOT winning Best Dance/Electronic Recording over Beyoncé.

ReplyCopy URLJanuary 21, 2023 at 8:28 am #1205256106I think “Break My Soul” should easily skate through in the dance field, mostly because of its success on the charts and its general field nods. With that being said, I wouldn’t underestimate “Intimidated.” Kaytranada is making a huge name for himself in the dance field and H.E.R. clearly has her support in the industry.

Kaytranada & H.E.R. could very well win Dance Recording. Mind you he’s won that category twice back to back (2021 & 2022). He’s loved in the dance field.lol yall are forgetting Rufus Du Sol,they won Dance Recording last year and are very much beloved as well i think we gonna have a tie in EDM category so many great tracks….

He didn’t win last year, he only won I. 2021 and that’s when he also had a BNA nomination as well. Rüfüs du Sol Won last year. I think beyonce is a front runner unless they’re not feeling mainstream solo artist for some reason. If not Kaytranada & H.E.R is next in line with the Diplo and Miguel following

*Meant 2021 ONLY* oops . I was looking at something else when looking at his award history.
ReplyCopy URLJanuary 21, 2023 at 5:41 pm #1205256650If the Dance Field does have a tie then I think it’ll be Break My Soul & Intimidated or Bey & Rufus. Beyoncé should be able to win Dance Recording if other fields crossed over to just vote for her. I wonder would voters (those who don’t normally vote in Dance) would risk that due to the voting limit. She jumped the big hurdle by getting nominated.

Why not? They could if they want see her winning big for Renaissance.

There are probably voters who are die-hard fans of her . A small percentage probably did do that.

Yeah, especially for Virgo’s Groove in R&B performance. I feel like that song out of any song on Renaissance is one of the most widely appealing, and her voice is amazing on it.
