She’s 100% losing Traditional R&B but she’s basically a lock for R&B Song and a pretty big contender for R&B Performance I think.

Honey, Anderson .Paak has won a Grammy every year since 2019.  His name and Mary J. Blige’s name on one song is Grammy catnip.  Mary overperformed in nominations.  No one predicted her in Record of the Year, Album of the Year, and Best R&B Performance.  They’re winning Best R&B Performance.

Him never battling Beyoncé doesn’t change the fact that he has an incredible amount of passion. He swept the R&B Field & won ROTY & SOTY at last year awards. Don’t be dense.

2020 He also took R&B Album & Performance.

He also beat out 2 #1 hits in 2019 in Rap Performance while being tied with Kendrick. Underestimate at your own will.

I think Mary will be the big winner in the R&B field. Beyoncé will be rewarded for her viral hit “Cuff It” and pick up awards in another field or two.

And Anderson.Paak has went up twice against Beyoncé and lost. Urban Contemporary Album (obviously he wasn’t beating Lemonade that year) and Music Video. But he’s become a heavyweight in the R&B field. I wouldn’t underestimate “Here With Me.” I really don’t know how R&B Performance is going to go. The only artist I would count out is Lucky Daye.

There’s always a surprise in the R&B Field. It will be in either Traditional or Performance. Song, Progressive, & Album seem locked up.
