Grammys Betting Odds: Latto Named Early Favorite For Best New Artist
Will Latto take home the coveted “Big Four” trophy?With about two months remaining until the 2023 Grammy Awards, oddsmakers see Latto as a frontrunner in the Best New Artist category.
The “Big Energy” breakout is currently a strong -160 favorite on BetUS. That means one would have to bet $160 on Latto to win $100 ($260 in total returns), should she prove successful at the February 5 ceremony.
In comparison to the other fairly tight Big Four races, oddsmakers are most confident in Latto as the Best New Artist winner. Anitta is seen as next-most likely with odds of +500 (bet $100 to win $500).
Muni Long (+800) and Wet Let (+800) follow in a tie for third.

Domi & JD Beck +3300I don’t see why people thinks latto is a frontrunner… Big Energy was a hit but the rest of her album flopped. Its kinda the same thing that happened with Jack harlows album, with only first class as relevant. With a difference that first class was a global hit, and big energy only achieve big numbers in the US. As someone said, she screams one hit wonder.
I would bet muni long way more than her, because at least her album was critticaly aclaimed and even were nominated in other grammy categories.
The fact of having Americans betting on anitta at the casino in 2nd place leaves me shocked. I hope the voters rock the vote
Anitta in 2nd place shocks me too… maybe thats a sign that a winner from outside US and UK is possible.

pretty much everyone in it has a real chance
if the academy fully let go of some old habits it might be very positive for their somewhat decaying reputation and it should get them more audience

it would also make the race more exciting and less predictablereally. i did some research and i was sure that latto and anitta are the most commercial names and bets of many people in the industry.
Latto might be able to win if he has more POP support than anitta.
Anitta may not have a hit like “Big Energy” but Anitta’s name is much better known behind the scenes in the pop industry than Latto’s name.
Latto released music with Mariah Carey and sang with Mariah at the Bet Awards. Anitta released music with Missy Elliot and sang with Missy at the American Music Awards.
the two are at the same level of prestige, with anitta steps ahead sweeping all important awards in the US.
