I kinda doubt JAY-Z would be down to perform if God Did didn’t manage to win at least one of its nominations

We’re acting like there’s not precedent for that.

Hell just last year Nas performed and lost both of his nominations.

MICHAEL JACKSON, the greatest entertainer of all time, performed at the 89 ceremony and then sat in the FRONT ROW as he lost all of his nominations.

Jay-Z could definitely lose all of his nominations to Kendrick just like he did in 2018.

Just as I predicted, Jay-Z (and Wayne & Rick Ross) lost all of their rap noms to Kendrick Lamar.

Future won Best Melodic Rap Performance in a mild upset and prevents a Kendrick clean sweep three-peat.

And even though its not rap I want to mention J.Ivy (of College Dropout’s ‘Never Let Me Down’ fame) winning the inaugural Best Spoken Word Poetry Album Grammy. J.Ivy is an INCREDIBLE Poet and a true genius with words. His album ‘The Poet Who Sat By The Door’ is really an excellent overall piece of work

Don’t think “Wait for U” was an upset, but Kendrick rightfully beat “God Did.”

Drake can literally win a Grammy without having to do anything lol. I’m proud of him tho.

This is his 5th Grammys out of like 45 nominations. His track record ain’t that great.

Damn not 45 nominations 😭. But I know he’s not a Grammy darling, he just seems to luck up and win/get nominated on other people’s songs it seems.
