I think Selena Q can may get in is Gloria Estefan or Celia Cruz in???i know the hall is a american institution but they should inductee the ones who open the doors for latinos first,selena is the second generation and she came after celia and gloria,also selena induction makes me think if they will inductee JLO one day lol i hope it never happens

As much as I love Mariah Carey to death. She isn’t popular with her peers so it is unlikely that she will be even nominated. Well, maybe in the next 20 years or so.

Mariah has an impeccable repertoire. Her non-singles are significantly better than her singles. People are just oblivious or in denial about her legacy. She deserves to be inducted.

or not. Mary has gotten a ton of flowers within the last few years, from lifetime honors from BET to Billboard to Grammy recognition after almost a decade at being ignored. Her industry peers seem to be on her side.

Solo female artists tend to have a much harder time being inducted than their male counterparts. So I’m not seeing it for either, at least right now.
