Co sign. You ain’t lying. Please ban me. Fuck the grammys though. Grammys stay racist 100%. Im done.

    He’s not totally wrong.

Hip pop dominates music now, Kendrick is one of the most acclaimed artists of the 10’s but keep losing to white artists, just like many others black artists…
remember Beyoncé loosing to Beck and Adele …

Gambino better show up in 2020 if he’s nominated for his next album so he can sweep.

Glover’s sweep actually almost exactly mirrors the Dixie Chicks’. “This Is America” missed a Rap Song nomination; “Not Ready to Make Nice” missed a Country Song nomination. They still managed to win everything they were up for (almost everything, in Glover’s case).

I’m mixed. I personally like her music, and find her and H.E.R. (lol) would’ve been fine winners and could have long careers, but that BNA curse is pretty relevant.

Adele’s the only winner in recent memory that’s become a true icon. It’s too early to say whether artists like Meghan Trainor or Alessia Cara are busts, though.

I’m happy Gambino kicked y’all white Shallow asses. Now y’all crying that TIA is not a good song.

K.dot doesn’t deserve to win AOTY just to make up for the last 3 times he was snubbed. There’re other hip hop projects that I much prefer to win AOTY such as Daytona, Kids see ghosts, Some rap songs and Taboo. Let’s be real, Kendrick was even nominated in the first place because he was Kendrick, not because of that boring cliches mess from such a talented rapper. Janelle Monae managed to make an album that is creative and culturally relevant, and Kacey Musgraves managed to make an enjoyable album from a boring and full of cliches genre. They deserve to win more.

Meghan Trainor’s career is over. It’s still early enough for Alessia to turn things around, but she’ll have to do it fast because her second album decline was STEEP.

I think Chance the Rapper is someone we’re going to be seeing a lot of for a very long time. He just hasn’t had a lot of output since he won.

Or he could be shut out like Ed Sheeran this year. The voters probably felt humiliated.

This is the first time in like i dont know more than 10 years? That a winner in two GF categories didn’t show up. It’s not a good sign for the Grammy’s.

Chance The Rapper is probably going to be one of those artists that never really hit hard, but you will see him everywhere… like now.

Now I don’t support the homophobic posts, but he has the right to be angry.

We all know he’s saying the truth. An artist like Lady Gaga would easily win for a generic pop song while a well deserved hip pop artist would lose just because he’s black.

And this year, a black rapper just won ROTY and SOTY for a song that many would argue is extremely mediocre. Arguably in large part due to his race. There are a lot of factors involved, especially competition. These things come and go in waves.

Yeah, but he’s still in Super Bowl commercials and stuff.
