I wouldn’t be surprised if her label puts all of their faith into EOM, but at the same, I can totally see “OMG” as her Music Video submission.

ReplyCopy URLSeptember 13, 2022 at 8:57 am #1205081864Do you think there’s any chance she’ll drop the three Target exclusive deluxe tracks on streaming platforms at any point?
Putting them on streaming in November around the time of 30’s year anniversary would be a smart idea. Not only does it help with visibility and promo during the voting period (alongside her residency starting then), but if her team really wanted to, the songs could be considered for Grammy submission the folllowing year.
I can also see her dropping the ‘I Drink Wine’ video around November time, since she mentioned in her Vogue interview last month that it’s still going to be released. Weird to think that video has been ready and waiting for almost a year now.

ReplyCopy URLSeptember 13, 2022 at 10:30 pm #1205082956I don’t think the Target exclusive songs are coming out anytime soon.
ReplyCopy URLSeptember 14, 2022 at 6:37 am #1205083193Wild Wild West deserved to be in Can I Get It’s place. It’s sophisticated like the rest of the album, unlike CIGI which looks like it came from an Ed Sheeran album.
ReplyCopy URLOctober 15, 2022 at 10:12 am #1205121751The swap would have made 30 a fully blown Jazz-Soul album.
Unpopular Opinion: Oh My God was quite pop too but I guess everyone else loved it. But take that out and make EOM & TBL more Jazzy and dinner is served for me.
ReplyCopy URLOctober 15, 2022 at 11:01 am #1205121794For Adele’s next album, I hope she makes a Chamber-Soul record exclusively produced by Ludwig Göransson.
That is a full orchestral instrumentation with soul harmonies, more tempo and dense lyrics.
Imagine “Viva La Vida” without the Baroque sound but with more deep harmonies or “Its All Coming Back” without the Pop instruments but more soul harmonies.
ReplyCopy URLOctober 15, 2022 at 11:20 am #1205121804I’d rather Adele dive deeper into the contemporary R&B sound with next record, and I’d even support some house-influenced records.
ReplyCopy URLOctober 15, 2022 at 11:52 am #1205121857As long as it’s not Pop, I’m in. I really find standard pop music obnoxiously simple. I generally prefer Soul to R&B albeit, the very reason I fell in love with Adele the moment I listened to “Water & A Flame”, one of her early collaborations.
ReplyCopy URLOctober 15, 2022 at 2:50 pm #1205122135Adele was rumored to go Country on 30. Which she kinda did on that “Easy On Me”duet. Maybe that’s the next direction. I love my girl, but she should change it up a bit. Kind of like Sam Smith. It’s ok to experiment & go bigger.
ReplyCopy URLOctober 15, 2022 at 4:52 pm #1205122248I mean, she did “experiment.” That was one of the biggest things mentioned in all of the reviews praising 30. One of the biggest critiques by haters is that it sounds like her other albums, but it does not. Now if she does a COMPLETELY different sound, then I’d be all for it. I don’t think anyone expected her to go from AC to full house with the next record. But 30 sounding “the same” as her other albums is just not one critique I can ever get behind. I think partially the reason this album hasn’t done as well was because it didn’t sound like the others. And I don’t want her to go the Sam Smith route. Despite him “experimenting,” a lot of his work is very inconsistent and gets lost in the shuffle.
ReplyCopy URLOctober 15, 2022 at 6:44 pm #1205122329Honey, so what if people mix up/forget Sam Smith’s pronouns. People mess up my pronouns all the time. It is NOT that serious.
