Maybe it’s just me but I found the song incredibly undercooked and kinda mediocre. Sounds like a bad Lewis Capaldi demo.
I did wish for an uptempo retro soul-ish sound, like Rolling In The Deep and Rumour Has It.
I think she noted in her interview with Capital FM that she never knew it was gonna be the first single, it was too Adele, and the album won’t actually follow suit.October 15, 2021 at 3:28 pm #1204520971
Here’s a list of spotify records so everyone here knows the records which Adele will most likely break (or already has).
Biggest single day counter streams: BTS – Butter 20.9m (only 20 hours of tracking). Adele will have 24 hours of tracking. Spotify reported Adele broke the record at around 20 hours of tracking.
Biggest single day filtered streams: Mariah Carey – AIWFCIY 17.22m
Fastest song to 100m: BTS – Butter 8 days
Biggest US single day streams: Drake – Girls Wants Girls 6.1m
Pretty sure they’re referring to the Mariah Carey record. There’s no such a thing as “unfiltered record”. Fraudulent streams don’t count towards the record.October 15, 2021 at 3:33 pm #1204520980
I love “Easy on Me”. Such a great song. It will be nominated for all the things and easily debut at #1 on Billboard Hot 100.
It’s probably going to be a jump to #1. Apparently, she has enough points to debut on the Hot 100 after five hours.October 15, 2021 at 3:33 pm #1204520982
Spotify has 3 types of streams
artist – unfiltered, only visible to the artist
counter – the streams you see on the counter, they have been filtered
chart – the streams you see on the spotify charts, they have been filtered even more to cap streams per account, often referred to as “filtered”October 15, 2021 at 3:35 pm #1204520984
If I were apart of Adele’s label, I would debut another single before the album release date, to possibly get another #1 hit.October 15, 2021 at 3:38 pm #1204520992
Just a note, only the spotify chart streams count towards BB charts. BB does not use counter streams (although counter streams are still considered legitimate and filtered streams).October 15, 2021 at 3:56 pm #1204521014
How many weeks @ #1 do we predict for “Easy on Me” on the Billboard Hot 100? I say 4-6 weeks. Then Xmas will take over the charts with Mariah and Brenda Lee.
Hello spent 10 weeks #1. Considering Easy On Me less commercial your prediction seems accurated.October 15, 2021 at 5:10 pm #1204521088
I just wanna go back here and say LMFAOO

Fuck, Columbia should have released a special CD for Industry Baby last week, LNX could have gotten another No 1 before the Adelecalypse. Its estimated chart point is so close to Stay’s.October 16, 2021 at 5:09 am #1204521564

That’s not true. Stay has/had a huge lead, like 25 points.October 16, 2021 at 6:33 am #1204521666
How did they calculate Adele’s numbers for the US, considering “Easy On Me” was released on Thursday? Would she have broken Drake’s record with Friday’s numbers combined, or are the numbers already combined?
Nevertheless, those numbers are huge. Not now
