I mean it has in fact been rising by minuscule points for a while now due to steady streams and growing radio.
The track could surpass The Box’s 11wks run to claim the crown this decade.
Video for “Oh My God” is stunning! Damn. One of the lesser “30” tracks just shot up big time.
Adele’s “Easy On Me” is spending a 9th week at #1. It marks the longest running solo female #1 since “Hello” (10 weeks).

Hopefully everything with Adele is OK. The whole Vegas residency debacle was not a good look. It was poorly handled. I doubt dates will be rescheduled. Her stage fright & perfectionism might cause her to step away from live performing for a while.

The press says a lot os things, I saw some pages insinuating she cancelled because of a problem in her relationship with Rich Paul. Yesterday, when she announced she is performing at the BRITs she shaded: “Oh, and Rich sends his love”.
Many artists cancelled shows lately and no one theorized about it, idk why they’re doing it with Adele.
Because a story on Adele would get more attention unfortunately. I don’t think it’s a targeted propaganda.
Anyway, journalists really do have a shit load of info about celebrities to be fair. Depending on how the info was obtained (legally or not) and it’s juiciness, they usually ignore many.
However, there are folks who can neither attend a rescheduled residency nor further resell their tickets at the resell price they bought. It hurts to loose such amount without a tangible reason. I’m talking tickets bought for $20k+! You’ll be lucky to resell at $10k. Not to talk of folks who already spent similar amount on travel and Vegas hotels.
Especially for fans in these situations that are not exactly rich but coughed up such amounts to support their artist, “We’re not ready” and “Covid held us back” projects irresponsibility. Let them vent their anger! It doesn’t mean they now hate Adele, but they feel disrespected and inconsequential compared to avoidable personal matters.

I totally agree with you and I would surely be very pissed if it was with me. My comment about the press has the intetion of poiting that is very wrong to try to create a narrative that the shows were cancelled because of an Adele’s relationship meltdown or because of stage fright anxiety. The responsability of the management is on her team and on the theater. Idk what happened, but I’m quite sure the fault isn’t on Adele. People talk like she didn’t sing on more than 100 shows on the 25 tour.
Who paid $20k for tickets, though? That’s most likely those resold tickets, and anyone who paid that much for them is foolish.
