VERY unpopular opinion: Taylor is being counted out way too soon.

Yes, she was 9/10th on the 1st round of voting, but it’s very unlikely she got massive support from any field. Now, with no country/americana album she is likely to get most of those votes to herself, same goes for alternative, they’ll probably go for the chance to award Bon Iver & The Nationals. Unlike pop albums, which will face massive slipt.

Also, Red was released during the second round of voting.

For the record, as much as I love Taylor I don’t think she should win a fourth time (and definitely not for the sequel of an already AOTY winner)

They’re going for Billie actually.

I’m totally devastated. There’s absolutely no excuse for this. We had everything we needed to make it to next year’s Champions League and we failed. We are Liverpool and qualifying to the competition is the bare minimum. I am sorry but it’s too soon for an uplifting or optimistic post. We let you and ourselves down.

I don’t get why they usually televise two Rap categories even when the genre doesn’t over-perform in the GF and there’s a split in the Pop field. This year it’d make sense though as Melodic Rap & Rap Album winners may not be the same.

If anything, I just hope the Rock field is relegated to the pre-telecast after they completely snubbed the field’s freshest batch of nominees last year.
