Majority of you until 2 months ago didn’t even bother to comment this project, y’all were acting like it was a not event, now suddenly y’all using every excuse inlcuding his health condition to bring down this project because now it’s a threat.

Tony had already this condition when he made the Diana Krall album, got nominations and even attended the Grammys that time, it was 3 years ago and he was already diagnosed, period in which she recorded also L4S, the album was ready since years, but of course this is an issue when this project got in AOTY and Lady Gaga is attached to it, before y’all weren’t giving a fuck.

Just a bunch of haters hating blindly.

Love For Sale was absolutely considered a contender prior to noms but ok.

    Give Ariana DeBose an oscar

What the hell is y’all’s problem. Y’all bring in this toxic shit nobody asks for.

When this project initially got released we had no idea it was going to do all this due to everything it had to overcome.

Y’all can literally can go to the Love For Sale thread we created; from the beginning, and tell me if we had any of that sh*t y’all are talking about.

    One thing’s certain, ya’ll didn’t gave a sh*t about this project that’s for sure.

The people here really lack nuance. Just a bunch of stans stanning blindly. I don’t think you guys here give a f about Tony Bennett too but the principle of using somebody’s deteriorating health to spearhead an awards show campaign and get sympathy votes is definitely problematic. No amount of essays or “shady” gifs is going to change that. You can take Gaga out of the situation and most people’s stance would remain the same. And lol at the lms trynna make it about racism. Gaga is a privileged white woman. She’s not won in the general field because voters didn’t wanna award. Her situation isn’t at all comparable to The Weeknd or Beyoncé. Stop this bs.

Funny you saying all this stuff when the one throwing shades and acting angry (and we know its not bcs of Tony’s health) it was you and still it is, specially with this weird behaviour of trying to blame Gaga and attack her out of nowhere. Pls stop pretending you care about Tony or if he is being used by his evil family and Friends, everybody here already got this is about the possibility of Gaga winning AOTY and with a cover jazz album that most of you didnt even try to listen (not that this would change the fake suddenly concern about Tony’s situation)

Voters love Tony and Gaga so they went all in on the noms. Regardless of what you might think about a cover album getting recognition, there’s nothing problematic

This debate is getting ridiculous. Tonys family and Gaga are doing nothing evil or disgusting in letting him perform, and using it being his final album as part of their promotion makes sense. Any other artist would market it that way if they knew that the album would be their last. Tony Bennett is one of the most iconic people in music, and his last album shouldn’t be overlooked just because he has Alzheimer’s which is what some of you seem to be suggesting. Can we go back to actually making predictions please

I agree that the racism argument is a silly one. The rest of what you said is inaccurate in part. The only people showing that Gaga is all they care about aren’t her “blind stans” it’s people like you that are blindly using her to root again LFS. Tony is an iconic musician that obviously has plenty of supporters. Again, using it being his final album is not disgusting. And lastly, taking out Gaga would not change the outcome. If Tony had decided to collaborate with Diana Krall for his last album, or do a solo album, or whatever he chose he would still be a frontrunner for AOTY and you would still be complaining.
