What albums do you think deserved more love at the Grammys? Like more nominations? And wins?

Madonna: Confessions on the Dance Floor
    – I am in shock this album didn’t do better at the Grammys. Madonna at this point of her career was at an all time high, and made a comeback for the ages. Confessions was a massive hit Worldwide and she reintroduced herself to a younger audience and she brought Club Dance music back. I feel like I think she should have had General field and Pop love. I have no idea how she submitted at the time.

Album of the Year: Confessions on the Dance Floor
Record of the Year: “Hung Up”
    Song Of the Year: “Sorry”
    Female Pop Vocal Performance “Jump”
Best Short Form Music Video: “Hung Up”

    Britney Spears: In the Zone
An album that was propelled by a monster hit. This Britney at her finest, I think she deserved to be recognized in the general field. I feel like she was long overdue. Truly a travesty at the lack of love for toxic.
    Record of the Year: “Toxic”
    Song of the Year: “Toxic”
    Best Female Pop Vocal: “Everytime”
Pop Vocal Album: In The Zone
    Short Form Music Video: “Toxi”

considering “Get Together” was her Dance Recording nominee that year, my guess is she entered “Hung Up” in ROTY and Female Pop Vocal and was snubbed. It wouldn’t have been eligible in SOTY.

    Rated R by Rihanna.

Talk about daylight robbery. Sheesh, they could’ve at least nominated Rude Boy.

Aaliyah’s self titled album. One of the greatest albums in the history of music.

‘thank u, next’ and ‘ctrl’ got so many nominations yet won nothing – i believe they both deserved at least one

the treatments of ‘melodrama’ and ‘dirty computer’ were also pretty ridiculous

i wish ‘ANTI’ had won something too, but it was never really going to happen against beyoncé’s ‘lemonade’, she got unlucky

ANTI was an amazing album and definitely deserved something. It’s a shame she had Beyoncé as her rival, she was obviously unbeatable.

Red also definitely deserved at least an award, i think it’s probably Taylor’s best album, and Reputation deserved some more nominations for sure, especially in such a weak and lame year.

TUN was a bit disappointing, it was nominated for FIVE awards and was one of the most succesful albums of the year. It just had too much competition (Billie, Lizzo and OTR). Stil convinced she should have won BPSP though.

Definitely Demon Days by Gorillaz. If “Feel Good Inc.” can get a well-deserved ROTY nomination(that it arguably should’ve won), why not an Album of the Year nod for its equally brilliant parent album?

That would have been a deserved nomination and win. Album of the Year stellar album.

Forget About It from Alison Krauss should’ve been named Best Country Album in early 2000.

God bless you and Alison always!!!
