I was checking the 2019 Performers Predictions thread (winter break is a boring bitch) and I found this comment (context: the Grammy’s didn’t want a 7 rings performance):
Also she should get the writing on the wall and not submit 7 rings for next year. The grammy’s would not nominate it.
I hope she performs 7 rings right in front of Ken lmao.December 29, 2019 at 10:00 am #1203253279
Ariana Grande breaks the record for selling the most singles globally during a year as main artist (79m – 2019), previously held by Katy Perry (67m – 2014)January 8, 2020 at 7:31 am #1203270411
A few thoughts.
1. Ariana and her team (NJOMZA, TBhits, Social House, DJ Frank) recorded a song that they decided was really amazing. They started tweeting about it, saying something incredible happened in the studio.
2. A bit later Ariana tweeted how much she loves Imogen Heap. I think she either collabed with her or sampled another song. A day later Imogen posted that she returned to the studio… (to make her project though, she said she doesn’t know what it will be in the end).
3. Tommy Brown shared a snippet on his insta. It’s probably that incredible thing they did in the studio. Here is it:
P.S. Before recording this song, Ariana was saying that she’s not releasing anything for a long time. So keep calm.
I hope for Q1 2021 lead single release.January 8, 2020 at 7:44 am #1203270428
Homegirl doesn’t rest. She really loves music.January 26, 2020 at 9:38 pm #1203313502
This is the end of the thank u, next era. She will be missed.January 26, 2020 at 9:54 pm #1203313563
This is so sad 🙁 Ari seemed so happy for the Grammys to go home with nothing. I’m scared for her too, I’m praying for her to do well in her next era and to actually promote. She still gave a great performance. Loved that Billie acknowledged her too

I am so mf proud of my daughter for a million reasons..but to name a few she stepped out & owned the red carpet TWICE, she gave a phenomenal performance, she owned sitting in her seat during the show showing true warmth, sincerity & respect … & she had a great time! Ariana won!January 27, 2020 at 2:11 am #1203313944
