I don’t think you realise pop-dance is just pop. albums like chromatica can be classified as a pop dance album when in reality it’s just pop and she already has pop albums. if u really want her to change genres than she should do edm or jazz. rnb is a great direction for her

This is growing on me like I hoped. just like magic, my hair, nasty, obvious, positions and pov are the best. motive is almost there but I don’t like the beat change in the chorus.

Est 36M+ streams on second day. Three tracks have already out of Top 50. Yeah, I’m lowering my projection to 200k-250k. This is excluding my anticipation that music consumption will collapse on election day and the days after. She will eventually drop even bigger.

Yeah I think she’ll do less than what HDD projected. She dropped more than I expected on Spotify and she only has three songs on Apple Music US top 10 now.

On a more positive note, I’m starting to warm up to some of the songs on the album that I previously disliked. It’s still not top 3 in her discography for me, but it’s not a horrible album either.

So, I’ve listened to the album a couple of times and honestly it doesn’t connect with me the way tu,n and sweetener did. I find it a pretty standard record, there are some great tracks though. My early favourites are motive and safety net.

tu,n and sweetener are her best ones by a mile imo, both amazing albums. DW is still special to me. My Everything is really her worst as a body of work but it has some iconic songs, and I really dislike Yours Truly so.

Wait people here were talking about how Pitchfork likes Ariana so much, they even gave My Everything a 7.7 so I thought that was her lowest score there, but I just checked and Yours Truly got a 6.5… I am hoping for at least a 7 for positions.
