    Great
    1. 21 (duh)
    2. The Suburbs (The Fame Monster would’ve been deserving as well)
    3. Random Access Memories (probably could’ve gone to Kendrick though)

    Good
    4. Fearless (Taylor deserved it this year only. Though I prefer The Fame, which is all around more iconic)
    5. Morning Phase (Should’ve gone to Beyoncé, but this album is good in its own right)

    Fine
    6. 25 (Sure, it beat expectations & Adele went diamond AGAIN, but Lemonade is one of the best albums of the century IMO)

    Bad
    7. 1989 (Undeniably huge era, but the award obviously should’ve gone to To Pimp a Butterfly or even Sound & Color.)
    8. Babel (A crime this beat Channel Orange, but it’s not my least favorite.)
    9. 24K Magic (The worst album of the bunch that year.)

I still get amazed every time I listen to 21. RAM is also very good, my second spot.

My favorite of these is Random Access Memories but I also love 21 and Morning Phase as well. The clear top three of the bunch in my opinion, although none of them are outright bad, even if Babel and 24K Magic are underwhelming as AOTY winners.

21 to infinity and beyond, probably the most iconic album of this decade.

For me, it’s either Fearless or 21, both of these albums were a step up from both the artists’ previous works and had an impact on the music industry while the other winners are decent they just didn’t have the same impact.

    The Suburbs
    Random Access Memories

21 was pretty great too and probably the right choice that year.

Wouldn’t Fearles be ‘00s? The album won in 2010 but didn’t it represent the 2009 Grammy year?

The album was from ’00s’ (2008 for Fearless), but when we talk about Grammy ‘winners’ we are always talking about the year of the awards ceremony.

    After re-listening

    1. Golden Hour (9.5/10)
    2. Morning Phase (8.5/10)
    3. 21 (8/10)
    4. 1989 (7/10)
    5. The Suburbs (7/10)
    6. 25 (6/10)
    7. Random Access Memories (6/10)
    8. 24k Magic (5.5/10)
    9. Fearless (5/10)
    10. Babel (3/10)

5-10 have NOT aged well. 1989 grew on me (probably her best album).
