Yes most are not from the last 15 yrs or so BUT I have heard no solo singers that can belt out a song without help. They did not have auto tune to help anytime they picked up a microphone which every artist uses now including for concerts. There is also a ton of lip syncing going on all over from pretty much every artist across the spectrum which they did not do.

Who in country music would y’all consider for this kind of category? To me, singers either sound good enough or they don’t. Martina McBride was the first person that I thought of with her voice being as strong as it is known for being, but who else in country music would fall into such a group of performers?
