Best Children's Album

So, earlier this month, Viola Davis released her children’s book, “Corduroy Takes A Bow”, along with the audiobook version the same day. I suppose we will find out once submissions leak. But is she likely to be submitted in Best Children’s Album or Best Spoken Word album? In either case, she could be staring an EGOT spot in the eyes early next year.

I think Children’s Albums that have no-singing classify as Spoken Word. Anyways, she’s probably winning.

Yes, the Spoken Word Album category is meant for ALL spoken word albums, regardless if they’re aimed at children or adults. And I certainly hope we see Viola Davis nominated here because I so badly want her to complete that EGOT!!!

That makes sense. I just thought if it was a children’s album released in audiobook it would be placed there. But, it would stand to reason, spoken words, are just that, and likely would be placed in that category.

There used to be two separate Spoken Word Album categories, one for children and one for adults before the Grammys decided to merge a lot of categories together a few years ago.
