Hopefully 10%. Kali Uchis deserves a Grammy.

Three-horse race between On My Mind, My High and 10%. Diplo is the biggest name nominated; Disclosure are arguably overdue a Grammy and could sweep the Dance field; Kaytranada also got into Dance Album and cracked BNA which is rare for a DJ unless they’re commercially successful (The Chainsmokers, Skrillex).

    1. My High
    2. 10%
    3. On My Mind
    4. The Difference
    5. Both Of Us

I agree this is between the overdue Disclosure, and this year’s discovery Kaytranada.

Flume and Diplo are big names and past Grammy winners so neither would be a total shock, but I don’t think either song will overcome passion for those other two contenders.

    Jayda G is probably a non-factor unless there’s some serious vote-splitting.

Forget about Kaytranada & Disclosure for a moment. The fact that Kali Uchis or Anime & Slowthai will have a gramophone hihi 🙂

The way that Q-Tip would still be Grammyless without this category and his Chemical Brother collabs.

Honestly a two horse between Kaytranada & Disclosure and I couldn’t be happier.

    Oscars FYC:

"Lamb" – International Feature and all categories

"Summer of Soul" – Picture, Film Editing and Documentary Feature

“The Green Knight” – in all categories

I think the race is between Flume and Disclosure. “The Difference” is the Apple song that’s played everywhere all year on commercials for AirPods Pro. That’s probably the most recognizable number of the group. Disclosure’s never won before, and their song is bananas. It’s also the best song of the lineup. Both Kaytranada and Disclosure have corresponding dance album nominations, and Flume was nodded last year there. Kaytranada also received a surprise BNA nomination. Both Diplo’s and Jayda G’s songs are forgettable, so I doubt either of them go the distance. I’m predicting Flume.

    1. “The Difference”
    2. “My High”
    3. “10%”
    4. “On My Mind”
    5. “Both of Us”

Think it’s gonna be My High, but I could see The Difference winning two. I think Kaytranada will only win this if he manages to beat Disclosure for Album, which he might not.

<p style=”text-align: left;”>I forget, was the LCD Soundsystem song that won here a few years ago a hit? I love LCD but have kind of attributed it to them being overdue, which could bode well for Disclosure.</p>

    “Tonite” peaked @ #33 on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Songs chart.

Disclosure has a really good chance of winning it they’ve been nominated a lot and it seems like the Grammys really like them also this time they have less competition than they did when they were previously nominated since there aren’t any long running veteran acts like Daft Punk this time.
